1. CECIL ADRIN⁴ OACHS (WILLIAM³, PETER CHARLES² OCHS, PETER¹) was born 22 Nov 1910 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota, and died 30 Nov 1977 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota. He married FERN CRIPPIN 15 Oct 1933 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota. She was born 11 Jun 1914, and died 30 Nov 1976 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota.

Biography

Cecil Adrin Oachs was born in Sterling Township.  He was the second child of sixteen children born to William and Minnie (Ward) Oachs.

Cecil was married to Fern Crippen on October 15, 1933. He worked for the Star Cab Company in Mankato as a taxi cab driver. Later, he worked for Clara Stahl at the Stahl Hotel in Mankato for 32 years.

Fern Crippen Oachs died on November 30, 1976 of cancer. Cecil died one year later on November 30, 1977 from the complications of emphysema.  He had suffered from it for fifteen years.  Cecil and Fern Oachs are buried in Woodland Hills Cemetery in Mankato, Minnesota.
