1. DONALD CHARLES4 OACHS (WILLIAM3, PETER cHARLES2 OCHS, PETER1) was born 16 Feb 1916 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota, and died 10 Apr 1991 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota. He married BARBARA BOEKE 02 Jul 1937 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota.
Six Living Children.
Biography
Donald Charles Oachs was born in Sterling Township. He was the fifth child of sixteen children born to William and Minnie (Ward) Oachs. He married Barbara Boeke on July 2, 1937.
Donald worked for the Gamble Robinson Company for 31 years as a driver. He also was an antique dealer and collector. He retired in 1968.
Donald and Barbara Oachs celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1987 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with many family members and friends present.
Donald died in 1991 and is buried in the Sterling Cemetery in Sterling Township, Minnesota. Copy of funeral card.
