DORIS ELIZABETH⁴ OACHS (WILLIAM³, PETER CHARLES² OCHS, PETER¹) was born 15 Oct 1914 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota, and died 28 May 2004 in Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota She married (1) OTTO SCHWANTES 20 May 1934 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato, Minnesota. He was born 04 May 1887, and died Aug 1980 in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. She married (2) DARRELL MATTINGLY 1981. He died 1982.

Doris Elizabeth Oachs was born in Sterling Township, Minnesota. She was the fourth child of sixteen children born to William and Minnie (Ward) Oachs.

Otto was a farmer in Good Thunder until he died in August of 1980 and Doris was a painter and paper hanger. 

in 1988. She died on May 28, 2004 at the age of 89 and is buried in St. John’s Cemetery.
