Biography

Leslie Darwood Oachs was born in Sterling Township, Minnesota. He was the tenth child of sixteen children born to William and Minnie (Ward) Oachs.  He served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1945.

Leslie married Marcella Grace Frederickson on June 27, 1945.  Leslie was employed by North Star Concrete Company of Mankato for over 30 years.  Leslie and Marcella have eleven children.

Larry Leslie died in 1950 at age 2 years old. Jeanne Marie died in 1967 at age 15 years old and Deborah Jane died in 1959 at age 3 years old.
